Hello. A customer of mine asked to have a feedback everytime a new subscriber to the newsletter is added to the list. Wouldn't it be useful if Yanc would send an email to the site owner, telling him a new subscriber has been added to the list? It would be a nice option. I don't know if this option does exist already.

Well.. it doesn't exist at the moment.

one of our current project requires us that yanc will notify the admin for new subscriber/s and approve or disapprove them once in the backend.

its a bit more than which was previously asked on this thread.

knowing adam is busy to do this modification, will take a quick shot on adding this feature.
*first timer here of yanc custom modification* Smiley

will post back how it goes. Smiley

time to dig on the codes and see yanc's logic Tongue

hi guilliam, just to point you in the right direction.

the easiest place to add it, is in the function subscribeMessage() in mailing.php (inside the classes folder).
this function is responsible for sending out the subscribe message, and will always be called once a subscriber has been saved (except for imports, with confirmed set to yes)
