Config List Length independently of global site settings

I have a problem with my Easy Gallery configuration.

Two other modules I have installed require me to set my global site List Length to "5" otherwise their page content spills outside the design of my site template and this has also effected the number of categories on my main category page.

What file do I need to hack in EasyGallery in order to set the number of thumbnails displayed on this page to a different number than my global settings - and please could you add independent configuration as a feature request for next release.

I want to change my EasyGallery to override global settings to some figure like "20" thumbnails per page (5 wide by 4 high)

Suggestions please?

It's quite a simple modification.

Open /components/com_easygallery/easygallery.php

Find:

Code:

$limit = intval(mosGetParam($_REQUEST, 'limit', $mainframe->getCfg('list_limit')));

replace with:

Code:

$limit = intval(mosGetParam($_REQUEST, 'limit', 20));

Please can you add as a feature the ability to change this setting in EasyGallery configuration?

Adam,
Would it be possible to have this configuration option more flexible?
I am able to show 4 thumbs in a row and would like to set this value in steps of 4, not steps of 5?
