Today we've released a new version of the Hosting Customers component. This new version will work natively on Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5 without having to enable the Joomla 1.5 legacy layer.

Hosting customers is a tool which Hosting Companies can use to register and administrate their hosting orders and customers. It will automatically generate invoices when a certain hosting period has passed.

If you're an existing customer, you can download the new version through our Licensing panel. More information about prices and how to order can be found on our site.

Change in licenses

There will be a change in licenses with the release of this version. From now on prices will be based on a yearly subscription model, meaning that you will need to purchase a new license after a year.

This will not affect all current customers, their version will remain a life-time license.

Future plans

Version 1.5 is basically a rebuild version 1.0, but with better structure and logic. Now that the first official version has been release, I'm curious to see what bugs there will be found.

One of the next things on the list is to update the available documentation, after that I can start building in new features. If you have useful ideas, please let me know.
