When the lightbox effect does nothing when you click on it, there can be a few reasons why this isn't working:

• The template you are using already loads the mootools library, loading the mootools lib twice on a page will cause issues. Solution: Since beta 5, Easy Gallery includes a parameter that will disable the loading of the mootools library.
• Another reason could be that you've disabled it. Solution: Check the menuitem parameters of the link that links to Easy Gallery and make sure it's enabled.
